  17. This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB)
  18. for use with network management protocols in TCP/IP-based internets.
  19. In particular, it defines objects for managing the Link Layer of X.25,
  20. LAPB.  The objects defined here, along with the objects in the "SNMP
  21. MIB Extension for the Packet Layer of X.25" and the "Definitions of
  22. Managed Objects for RS-232-like Hardware Devices", combine to allow
  23. management of an X.25 protocol stack.  This RFC was produced by the
  24. X25mib Working Group of the IETF.

  26. This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol.

  28. This RFC specifies an IAB standards track protocol for the Internet
  29. community, and requests discussion and suggestions for improvements.
